An official source in the Media department of Etisalat Egypt announced that the company received a copy of the broad lines for the unified licence from the National Telecommunication Regulatory Authority (NTRA). The source noted that the company is precautious on the terms of the licence in the copy received by Etisalat which the Information and Communication Technology Ministry announced in a press conference. The source added that the firm is currently doing an in-depth study to all the conditions and specifics of the unified licence and will response with the statistics and figures showing the situation in the market. All options are open to the firm to ensure its right and the rights of its shareholders, the source added. Meanwhile, Vodafone Egypt did not revealed its response to the conditions of the integrated operator licence, stressing that the official response will be issued by Vodafone Global. Vodafone Egypt did not comment on the licence , waiting the pricing which offered by the Ministry today Mr. Khaled Hegazy , the External Affairs Director noted. Vodafone is ready to negotiate with Telecom Egypt (TE)(ETAL-CA) regarding the national Roaming so that TE will obtain spreads to provide spreads voice ,mobile and internet services, Hegazy illustrated.
