At Least One Student Killed At Cairo University Clashesa

A student has died during clashes between Muslim Brotherhood supporters and security guards at Cairo University, an official source from the interior ministry has told Al-Ahram Arabic news website.
Commerce student Omar Osama died from a gunshot wound on Thursday afternoon, the interior ministry said.
However, Cairo University president Gaber Nassar denied the news.
The clashes had injured six people, he said.
A number of students received bullets wounds, according to reports.
The student union of the university announced in the early evening hours that another student at the faculty of science, Ali Mohamed Ali, died of gun wounds.
Kamal El-Dally of Giza police said university guards had refused their request to enter the campus.
Security forces confronted the students when they exited the campus and began to provoke chaos on their way to Nahda Square, El-Dally said. Police arrested 20.
Interior Minister Mohamed Ibrahim has been following events at the university and intends to visit the campus when he receives permission, interior ministry official Abdel-Fattah Othman said.
Clashes between Brotherhood students and security forces also took place on Thursday at Ain Shams and Alexandria universities.
'Students against Coup' had planned the protests to remember their colleague Abdel-Rahman Yossri, who died at an earlier protest.
Many protesters held pictures of Yossri and chanted slogans against the military and interior ministry.
Students also made the pro-Morsi Rabaa hand signal.
Clashes broke out at Cairo University when security guards moved to prevent Brotherhood students from storming a building where mid-term exams were taking place.
At Helwan University, Brotherhood students gathered to protest the death of their colleague, Amr Hendy, at an earlier demonstration.
Hendy died at a protest to condemn the arrest of Al-Azhar University students.
Earlier on Thursday, officials closed all the entrances to Tahrir Square after learning students were threatening to protest there.
It was also reported that students burnt cars and billboards near the Giza security office.
