Egypt, UAE Ink MoU to Enhance Cooperation in Civil Aviation Sector Today

Egypt and UAE have signed memorandum of understanding today in the field of air transport in order to increase the operating capacities between the two countries, in addition holding many negotiations especially transfer of passenger, cargo air transport and the allowed seats and operating firms, the two countries are aiming to enhance the cooperation in the civil aviation sector.
The Memorandum has signed in the presence of Mohamed Ibrahim Sharif, the chairman of Egypt's Civil Aviation Authority, HE Saif Mohammed Al Suwaidi. Director General, General Civil Aviation Authority, UAE. Chairman of Arab Civil Aviation Commission Council in the regional office of the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA).
Eng. Abdul Aziz Fadel, the Egyptian Minister of Civil Aviation said the Ministry's strategy will allow to all the global and Arab firms to operate the entire Egyptian airports so as to encourage tourism and to provide many alternatives for the Egyptian Citizens.
He noted that the Cairo airport will implement bilateral agreements due to the ongoing construction and development work and raise the efficiency of the runways.
The Minister added that in the light of the relationship between Egypt and UAE for the distinct economy and growth investment from the UAE side in Egypt and to increase job vacancies for Egyptians in the UAE, which creates great opportunities for air carriers of the two countries to expand flights and cargo flights between the both countries.
