Saudi Arabia Egypt's First Export Destination, Turkey Second

Saudi Arabia topped the list of countries receiving Egyptian exports in 2013, with over LE12.8 billion in exports, compared to LE10.8 billion the year before.
Turkey came in second place, with LE9.2 billion in exports, compared to LE6.7 the year before.
Italy came in third place with LE8.2 billion, compared to LE6.6 billion, followed by Libya with LE8.6 billion, compared LE8.1 billion,
the United States with LE7.7 billion, compared to LE8.8 billion, the United Kingdom with LE5.7 billion, compared to LE4.6 billion, France with LE5.4 billion, compared to LE4.2 billion, Lebanon with LE4.1 billion, compared to LE4.5 billion, the UAE with LE3.8 billion, compared to LE3.5 billion, and Germany with LE3.7 billion, compared to LE3.4 billion.
Data from the Ministry of Trade and Industry showed that Arab countries came first in terms of exports, with a total of LE56.2 billion, compared to LE48.7 billion, followed by the European Union, with LE36.3 billion, compared to LE30.1 billion, and the African countries with LE8.4 billion, compared to LE8.7 billion.
