Tarek Amer Criticizes Government Policy In Licensing Industrial Firms

Tarek Amer, Federation of Egyptian Banks Chairman, criticized government policy concerning providing licenses for industrial firms. He called Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade to facilitate licensing procedures to boost industrial growth rates in Egypt.
Amer added that he will perform radical changes in the regulations of licensing industrial firms, if he was nominated to be the minister of Industry.
Ismail El-Nagdy, chairman of Industrial Development Authority, said that the government is adopting all policies to facilitate licensing industrial firms across Egypt and that the Authority is ready to solve administrative problems facing investors.
