Egyptian pound edges up against dollar in Monday midday trade

The Egyptian pound strengthened marginally against the US dollar in midday trading on Monday, with official exchange rates showing a slight improvement across several major banks.
At 13:51 local time (10:51 GMT), the pound was quoted as follows:
