Hong Kong's total exports rose 14.3 per cent to $446.3 billion in July 2025, while imports climbed 16.5 per cent to $480.4 billion, resulting in a trade deficit of $34.1 billion, the Census and Statistics Department reported on Tuesday. For the first seven months of 2025, exports increased 12.7 per cent and imports rose 13.2 per cent compared with 2024, with a cumulative deficit of $218.6 billion.
