Egypt's Petroleum Ministry receives dual ISO certifications

Egypt's Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources has received ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management, becoming the first building in the Government District of the New Administrative Capital to earn the international accreditations.
The two-month project, implemented in cooperation with Petrosafe and EGAC-accredited Petrocert, included awareness campaigns, internal audits, and external evaluations covering evacuation plans, air quality, waste management, and institutional documentation.
