Egypt's El-Dabaa Nuclear Power Plant is set to generate over twice the electricity output of the Aswan High Dam when fully operational, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly said Wednesday. Speaking at a press conference in New Alamein, the prime minister described the project as a long-standing national aspiration. He announced that the first reactor at El-Dabaa site is expected to begin operations in the second half of 2028.
