Alexandria University has signed a series of cooperation protocols and agreements with several French universities as part of the French-Egyptian Conference on Scientific and Academic Cooperation at Cairo University on the sidelines of French President Emmanuel Macron's visit to Egypt, as per a Cabinet statement. Five agreements were concluded with French universities, including Lyon 3, Cergy, Littoral, Poitiers, and Aix Marseille. The partnerships aim to launch academic programmes aligned with the needs of future job markets, establish joint degree programmes, and strengthen academic and research collaboration. The agreements also include initiatives to facilitate the exchange of students, academic staff, and administrative personnel, further deepening educational ties between Egypt and France.
