Egypt has strongly condemned Israel's latest airstrikes on multiple sites in Syria, calling them a blatant violation of international law and an assault on Syria's sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity. In a statement on Thursday, the Foreign Ministry accused Israel of exploiting Syria's internal situation and urged international actors to take responsibility for curbing Israel's repeated violations. It also called for Israel to end its occupation of Syrian territories and respect the 1974 Disengagement Agreement. Egypt also denounced Israel's attack on a UNRWA clinic in Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, which killed and injured dozens of Palestinians. The ministry described the strike as a flagrant breach of international law and humanitarian law. Cairo further condemned Israel's deliberate targeting of UN agencies, humanitarian organisations, and medical facilities, saying such actions reflect a blatant disregard for international law. It criticised the continued absence of accountability and the international community's silence, urging global powers to abandon double standards and take action to end Israel's conduct.
