Afghanistan's Ministry of Commerce and Industry reported on Sunday that the country's international trade in goods amounted to $295 million in the Persian calendar year 1403. From March 20, 2024, to March 20, 2025, the country exported goods valued at $128 million and imported goods worth $167 million, said the ministry's spokesman. The country's trade of goods was conducted with several nations such as Austria, Jordan, Spain, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, the United Kingdom, the United States, South Africa, Germany, China, and India. Afghanistan primarily exports fresh and dried fruits, saffron, handicrafts, and other goods, and imports medical supplies and electrical equipment, the spokesman added.
