Egypt's stock market (EGX) closed mixed on Wednesday. The main index, EGX30 went up by 0.37 per cent, to 30,876.44 points. The Shariah index, EGX33, dropped by 0.13 per cent, to 3,298.01 points. The SMEs index, EGX70 sunk by 1.08 per cent, to 8,533.32 points. The index, EGX100 index went down by 0.79 per cent, to 11,840.45 points. The total market cap reached 2,279,466,729,767 Egyptian pounds. The Egyptians and Non-Arab Foreigners were net sellers with a total of 387,236,300 Egyptian pounds and 142,577,489 Egyptian pounds, respectively. Meanwhile, the Arabs were net buyers with a total of 529,813,788 Egyptian pounds.
Top gainers on Wednesday 1. Ismailia Development and Real Estate Co shares rose by 6.90 per cent, to close at the price of 27.270 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Gulf Canadian Real Estate Investment Co. shares climbed by 4.99 per cent, to trade at the price of 42.950 Egyptian pounds a share. 3. El Wadi For International and Investement Development shares jumped by 4.02 per cent, to the purchasing price of 0.880 Egyptian pounds a share. Top losers on Wednesday 1. Rights Issue Of Beltone Holding -4 shares fell by 21.81 per cent, to close at 0.147 Egyptian pounds a share. 2. Maridive & oil services shares dropped by 8.13 per cent, to close at the price of 0.294 Egyptian pounds a share. 3.
