The Egyptian Drug Authority (EDA) Chairman Ali El-Ghamrawy welcomed an official delegation from the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority (ZAMRA) to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector and facilitate the registration of Egyptian medicines in the Zambian market. El-Ghamrawy highlighted the importance of knowledge exchange and regulatory development, reaffirming Egypt's leading role in supporting health integration across Africa. He also noted that EDA is internationally recognised, being the first African regulatory body to achieve WHO Level 3 Maturity for pharmaceutical and vaccine manufacturing. The meeting underscored Egypt's commitment to increasing the presence of Egyptian pharmaceutical products in African markets and strengthening regional healthcare partnerships.
