Egypt eyes civil aviation carbon reduction with Wood

Egypt's Minister of Civil Aviation, Sameh El Hefny, met with officials from Wood, a leading global engineering firm specialising in renewable energy projects, to discuss the transition to clean energy in Egypt's civil aviation sector, according to the Egyptian Cabinet.
The discussions focused on implementing advanced technological solutions to reduce carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency, aligning with Egypt's environmental sustainability goals.
Wood, ranked among the world's top 10 engineering firms in the energy sector, is a leader in wind energy, green hydrogen, and carbon storage project design.
