The Egyptian government is collaborating with the Ministries of Electricity and Renewable Energy, as well as Petroleum and Mineral Resources, to prevent power outages during the summer months, Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly said on Wednesday. The plan involves boosting renewable energy production by 4.5 gigawatts by next summer and increasing domestic oil and gas output through partnerships with international companies, Prime Minister Madbouly told a press conference.
