EU, Mercosur aim to finalise trade deal by year-end

The European Union (EU) and the Mercosur bloc, comprising Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay, are targeting the end of this year to complete negotiations on a long-delayed trade agreement.
The Financial Times reported on Tuesday that both parties are focused on concluding the deal, which has been in the works for several years.
