Egypt, Switzerland to collaborate in healthcare sector

Egypt and Switzerland are set to collaborate in the healthcare sector, said Chairman of Egyptian General Authority for Healthcare Ahmed El-Sobky on Thursday.
This came during a meeting between El-Sobky and the Swiss Ambassador to Cairo Yvonne Baumann cooperation to develop Egypt's healthcare sector.
They discussed the possibility of developing Egypt's digital healthcare field, training medical staff, and promoting green transition of the healthcare sector.
El-Sobky also highlighted the importance of exchanging expertise with Switzerland in digital medical records, operation of virtual hospitals, digitisation of blood banks, and safe disposal of medical waste.
