EGX closes at L.E3.6 b, EGX30 nears 4900P

The EGX has managed to earn L.E3.5 billion by the end of the trading process on Sunday. As a result, the market capital of the listed stocks has reached L.E357.161 billion.
EGX30 has witnessed a rise of %2.92 to close at 4892p. EGX20 has witnessed a rise of %1.83 to close at 5472p. In addition, EGX70 has witnessed a rise of %3.72 to close at 469.17p; the EGX100 has witnessed an increase of %20.79 to close at 776.77p.
The market has recorded an amount of trading valued at L.E576.939 million through a volume of trading amounted to 148.950 million shares for the 37.5 thousand transactions.
This was after trading in 179 listed securities; the price of 164 rose and of 12 diminished while the price of the rest (3 securities) remained fixed.
In Sunday's trading session, Egyptians and Arabs were responsible for selling activity for L.E2.229 million and L.E5.021 million respectively, while the foreign investors made up L.E7.321 million of the purchasing activity.
The leading shares have recorded collective rise led by Orascom Telecom Media & Technology Holding (OTMT) which has witnessed a rise of %6.77 to close at L.E3.99. The EFG-Hermes Holding (HRHO) has witnessed a rise of %6.63 to close at L.E4.26. Then Orascom Construction Industries (OCIC) has had a rise of %3.52 to close at L.E295.88.The Commercial International Bank- Egypt (COMI) has also witnessed a rise of %3.10 to close at L.E23.30.
