Singer Lisa Marie Presley, Elvis Presley's only daughter's death in January was caused by a small bowel obstruction caused by a prior weight loss surgery, Los Angeles County Medical Examiner-Coroner said on Thursday. Presley's death was ruled as being from natural causes, after being found by her ex-husband, unresponsive, in her home, then hospitalized at a Los Angeles hospital, where she was announced dead. No indication was made public at the time of what may have caused the medical issue. Presley was buried at Graceland, the home-turned museum, where she lived with her father as a child, leaving behind three daughters, actor Riley Keough, and twins Harper and Finley Lockwood. Presley had a son, who died from suicide in 2020. Presley's daughter, Riley Keough, was nominated for an Emmy for her leading role in Amazon Prime series, Daisy Jones & the Six. Priscilla Presley, Lisa Marie's mother and ex-wife of Elvis Presley, had filed court documents four days after her daughter's funeral, disputing a 2016 amendment to Lisa Marie's living trust that removed her mother as trustees. Priscilla and Riley Keough, who became the sole trustee, agreed to a settlement in May.
