EIBA asks to be notified with insurance amendments

Egyptian Insurance Brokers Association (EIBA) intends asking Insurance Federation of Egypt (IFE) to notify them with all decrees and amendments of IFE's technical committees.
Adel Shaker, chairman of EIBA, said that they need to be notified with all insurance policies' amendments, because they deal directly with customers, noting that EIBA did not ask to be represented in technical committees.
Shaker added that EIBA asked Abdel Raouf Kotb, head of IFE, to notify them with the committees' publications, so that insurance brokers can clarify insurance policies clauses to customers. Insurance brokers shall be informed with all changes incurring to insurance market including decrees, regulations, and amendments, in order to spread awareness about insurance in Egypt, Shaker affirmed.
