The industrial zone in Kafr el-Dawar, at El Behaira province, is receiving new industrial investments at EGP 24 million values, distributed on 5 factories in different productive sectors. The ministry of industry and foreign trade has allocated lands for these investments on an area of 12.039 meters. These investments provide 344 direct job opportunities and hundreds of indirect job opportunities. On his part, Fathy Morsi, Head of El Behaira Investors Association, told Amwal Al Ghad that the province in cooperation with the ministry of industry seek to strongly bolster the industrial growth rates in the new industrial zone; particularly in Kafr el-Dawar and Abou Al Matamer. El Behaira province allocated 470 acres for establishing a new industrial zone in Q1 of 2012 to develop the industrial investment.
