Egypt's third largest state lender Banque du Caire has closed down its headquarters in Nasr City after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus. The closure is part of the bank's precautionary measures to face the spread coronavirus. Its Chairman and CEO ,Tarek Fayed, stressed that this measure comes in the framework of the bank's keenness on preserving health and safety of the employees and the customers. He noted that the bank takes number of precautionary measures, and works in accordance with alternative plans that have been put in place to deal with this type of crisis. Fayed also added that full sterilisation operations are currently being implemented for the main headquarters' offices and departments. A medical examination will be performed on all the employees who were in contact with the positive case, and samples will be taken with the recommendation of social isolation.
