What about the molestation "cavern"
Published in Almasry Alyoum on 28 - 12 - 2009

Reactions have continued after a center for molesting mainly street girls located under the Cairo Imbaba bridge was uncovered.
Independent MP Talaat el-Sadat announced he is to submit four interpellations against the cabinet minister, family and housing minister, internal trade, plus the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood (NCCM).
In his statement to Al-Masry Al-Youm, el-Sadat questioned the role played by the Interior Ministry to deal with the situation. He noted that millions of aid money is granted to institutions in charge of protecting children, [money that] does not reach the cases in need of help and is spent on parties and conferences held in luxurious hotels.
Abdel Salam Bekheet, head of Nour el-Haya charity said that the organization received a phone call from the Egyptian soccer star Mohamed Abu Terika, offering to help in any way in the establishment of a charity to help solve the problems of street girls. Bekheet said that the organization will establish a permanent shelter for the girls if they can managed to get the funding needed.
Nour el-Haya, along with the Egyptian Institution for the Promotion of Children Conditions and the Egyptian Centre for Economic and Social Rights filed a report yesterday at the Attorney General's office demanding legal measures that would effectivly deal with the cruelest of violations faced by street children.
Khaled Ali, head of the centre, said that they will use every legal procedure possible in order to protect the street girls and punish those who victimize them.
Ashraf Nageh Abul Ela, a lawyer for Nour el-Haya, said that Ibrahim Noufal, chief of the Imbaba police department, told him that the only body that can take action in this case is the General Authority for Roads and Bridges or North Giza municipal council.
