Dozens of protesters continued their demonstrations in front of Sharm el-Sheikh Hospital, demanding that former President Hosni Mubarak leave because they say his presence hurts South Sinai tourism. Mubarak was hospitalized Tuesday after suffering a heart attack during interrogations regarding his involvement in the deaths of protesters. Mubarak has resided in Sharm el-Sheikh since he stepped down on 11 February. A few Mubarak supporters fought with the protesters. The city, besides being a popular tourist destination, had also hosted several high-level meetings and summits, which required stringent security measures that usually rattled locals, especially business owners.
