Brotherhood begins choosing parliamentary election candidates

The Muslim Brotherhood has held opinion polls in multiple governorates in preparation for choosing its candidates for the parliamentary elections slated for September.
“We are also coordinating with different political powers for them to support our candidates,” said Mohsen Rady, a leading figure in the group.
Group spokesman Amir Bassam, for his part, said the group would compete in over 40 percent of the parliamentary seats.
