Egyptian fishermen who were detained last Friday when their Tag al-Islam fishing boat was caught without permits in Yemen's territorial waters. The Egyptian fishermen were arrested near Hodeidah port on the Red Sea. The Egyptian Foreign Ministry and the Egyptian Embassy in Sana'a prevented their trial and they will return home as soon as possible, said Ambassador Mohamed Abdel-Hakim, Egyptian assistant foreign minister. He called on Egyptian fishermen to adhere to the International law and UN conventions and not to enter into other countries' territorial waters without a license or a permit.
