Beni Suef University signed six scientific cooperation agreements with Chinese Universities in the field of exchanging experiences, scientific research and scholarships for staff and students. Mohamed Youssef, President of Beni Suef University, said he signed those agreements during his visit to China among the Egyptian delegation that included four heads of universities and the Secretary of the Supreme Council of Universities to participate in the activities of the first scientific conference of Sino-Arab cooperation.
He added that the university administration discussed the financial allocations earmarked for the construction of some new colleges to the east of the River Nile in Beni Suef.
The administration also approved the promotion of some staff members at the faculties of arts, sciences and medicine.
The Ministry of International Cooperation has allocated LE 6 million for developing the two centers for heart and chest at the university hospital.
