Security forces arrested the brother of a prominent Hamas leader at his home in Arish City last Monday evening. Speaking on condition of anonymity, a security source has confirmed that Youssef Abu Zuhri, the brother of Hamas Spokesman Sami Abu Zuhri, entered Egypt illegally through a tunnel. Abu Zuhri had listening devices and other devices that have been impounded, the source said adding that a helicopter noticed Abu Zuhri during his infiltration and the security men followed and arrested him. Abu Zuhri was taken to the State Security Investigation (SSI) to investigate whether he belongs to Hezbollah cell, which was located in Egypt. The SSI will also ask Abu Zuhri about the way he used to enter Egypt.
Other security sources said the security forces arrested Abu Zuhri by chance during the inspections they carried out in cooperation with the SSI in Arish to conduct a photographic survey of the places where the main defendant in Hezbollah case Sami Shehab was meeting with the other defendants.
