Dubai - U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has met with Saudi Arabia's King Salman in the kingdom's Red Sea city of Jiddah a day after visiting Qatar in an effort to end the Gulf crisis. The Saudi Press Agency said Tillerson and the Saudi monarch discussed developments in the region and ways to combat terrorism and terror financing. Any resolution of the dispute must address all the key issues for Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Egypt, including Doha's undermining of regional stability, a senior UAE official said ahead of the talks in Saudi Arabia. His comments shed light on Tillerson's uphill challenge. This came after a joint statement by the Four Arab countries boycotting Qatar saying that the anti-terrorism agreement between The US and Qatar was "not enough" step.
