Abdel Rehim Ali: Time for Egyptians to unite

Cairo – Egyptian parliamentarian Dr. Abdel Rehim Ali has launched an initiative on Friday urging Egyptians to unite and back the political leadership.
Under the motto: "It's time to unite, let's unite" initiative, Ali urged Egyptian people and government to use this initiative to counter terrorism.
"Today, we have no option but to unite, support Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and Army and back security and intelligence services after the heinous Rafah terrorist attack on Friday. Let us put our differences t aside in order to counter and defeat the scourge of terrorism and protect our country from advocates of frictio, sectarianism and terrorism," Ali added.
On Friday, terrorist gunmen with a booby-trapped vehicle targeted a security checkpoint force in Egypt's North Sinai, leaving 26 servicemen dead and several others injured.
