Cairo – Egyptian parliamentarian Mona Munir said on Wednesday that female MPs have managed to make great achievements and could prove their competence and worthiness during the 9-month second session with respect to legislation and control. She pointed out that female MPs were honored in the parliament for their impressive scientific and sporting accomplishments. Munir extended her thanks to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi for supporting women, who are the core of the parliament. She also thanked parliament speaker Ali Abdel Aal and all heads of parliament committees and praised them for the successful second session. Munir added that female MPs should be ready for the third session, when a legislative agenda is scheduled to be debated.
