Cairo – A media center in the Egyptian city of Matrouh organized on Thursday a symposium on the development and rehabilitation of Egyptian women. Walid Yehia, an assistant secretary at Alexandria University, said the symposium was organized with the aim of improving capabilities of Egyptian women and helping them have a better economic and social life. Yehia thanked Egyptian women for their contribution to the development of the Egyptian community, citing small-sized projects run by them to improve their living conditions. He promised that more training sessions would be held in the coming period to help Egyptian women play a pioneering role in developing their community.
