Cairo - Georgetown is one of the most vibrant and dynamic spots in Washington D.C. Not only do I maintain this impression due to being the first place I explored outside the area that I lived in back in 2013, but also because its glamour takes the Washingtonians themselves by storm. In late 2013, being newcomer to Washington D.C., my roommate and I went to buy the stuff necessary to our apartment during the fall semester. We picked and chose the Georgetown neighborhood which is reputed to be a great commercial place that is pretty expensive, yet of a good quality. Besides it is in the vicinity of our place 7 minutes driving, and circa 25 minutes by public transportation.
