Cairo - The Holy Quran is full of verses, which call for coexistence and integration among all people, Egypt's Mufti Dr. Shawqi Allam said. The Holy Quran talks about One God and one human family, he added. Speaking to "With the Mufti" talk show aired on Al-Nas TV channel on Thursday, Allam stressed that Islam prohibits all forms of bloodshed and orders its followers to respect non-Muslims. He also urged Egyptians not to believe fatwas (religious edicts) of terrorist and extremist groups, which forbid Muslims from dealing with followers of other divinely-revealed religions.
