You do not have to be a fan of The Beatles to know one of their first hits in the 1960s, "I Want to Hold Your Hand." But in the Trumps' household, things are different and more to the tune of ‘I Don't Want to Hold Your Hand.' During the first trip abroad of American President Donald Trump and First Lady, Melania Trump, the world witnessed, not once, but twice, Melania apparently shooing the president's hand away when he tried to hold hers. To be more precise, one was a shove, and the other time was a total avoidance by Melania Trump to hold her husband's hand. The first episode of awkwardness between the Trumps was during their arrival in Tel Aviv. On the red carpet walk towards Israeli officials, about 16 seconds into the video, Trump makes an attempt to reach out and hold his wife's hand, yet the video clearly shows she did not want any part of that. Call it as you may, a ‘shove', a ‘shoo', ‘a push', which ever verb you want to use leads to the same result, she did not want to hold his hand.
