Tripoli - Terrorist groups in Libya have managed to gain control over many Libyan cities with Qatari-Turkish support, according to Nasser al-Hawari, Head of the Libyan Observatory for Human Rights. Al-Hawari also condemned the extrajudicial executions in Tripoli and Benghazi prisons, which are increasingly being reported to the Observatory. He said that there are an estimated seven thousand Libyans who are still crammed into the militias-run prisons. In an exclusive interview for Al-Bawaba News, Al-Hawari said that what is happening in Libya is fueled by many countries, mainly Qatar and Turkey, as well as Sudan which has recently backtracked a bit. There are also numerous terror groups which are contributing to exacerbating the Libyan situation such as the Brotherhood which has not denounced any terrorist act perpetrated by these groups. Rather, it tends to describe them as 'Mujahideen', meaning the ones who strive or struggle for the sake of God.
