Cairo – Defiant Egyptian MP, Abdel Rehim Ali, a renowned writer and columnist, expressed his utter objection that some parliament members are attempting to stifle voices of their fellow MPs who happen to have divergent views than theirs. In his speech at the parliament's plenary session on Wednesday, in which the Social Allowance Act was approved, Ali said that he is completely against any attempt to intimidate and silence opposition voices in the parliament.
