Cairo - Chairman of Administrative Control Authority, Mohamed Erfan, and World Bank (WB), in the presence of Minister of investment and international cooperation minister Sahar Nasr, signed a cooperation protocol on fighting corruption, good governance, and administrative reforms. Erfan stressed on the authority's full commitment to implement the guidelines of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi in all aspects; including block any attempts for potential corruption in the future, while in the same time demolishing existing corruption in state's institutions. An ACA statement said, on Tuesday, that Erfan reviewed a national strategy to fight corruption until 2018. Nasr said anti-corruption measures are part of the government's economic and social program. Erfan and Investment Minister Sahar Nasr held a number of meetings with WB leaders on efforts to fight corruption and achieve transparency. Cairo is firm on fighting corruption in all its forms, she stressed. World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim said he is keen on supporting Egypt in its efforts to counter corruption and achieve good governance.
