Manama - Egypt's President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, on Monday, visited the headquarters of Bahrain Economic Development Board, accompanied by Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and a raft of Bahraini ministers and senior officials. The president was given a presentation on the goals and activities of the board, which is the body responsible for luring investors to Bahrain and supporting initiatives aiming at boosting the investment environment in the kingdom, Presidential Spokesman Alaa Youssef said. The spokesman added that the President called for boosting cooperation between the two countries in the field of investment and exchange of information related to measures that aim at improving the business environment and creating conditions attractive to investment. Earlier in the day, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi arrived in Bahrain, the second leg of his Gulf tour that also took him to Kuwait. During his official visit to Bahrain, Sisi held a session of talks with Bahraini King Hamad bin Isa al Khalifa within the framework of continued consultations between the two countries with the view to boosting bilateral relations at all levels. The two sides also discussed promoting unity among Arab countries and standing firmly in face of foreign interference in Arab domestic affairs.
