Manama - Egypt is keen on promoting bilateral ties with Bahrain in the various spheres in order to achieve joint interests between the two countries, said President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, as Middle East News Agency reported. President El-Sisi, meanwhile, underlined the importance of confronting attempts to meddle in the affairs of Arab countries. Security of the Arab Gulf is part and parcel of Egypt's security, he stressed during his talks with Bahraini King Hamad bin Issa al Khalifa. El-Sisi also thanked the Bahrini king for the warm reception, affirming the close ties binding Egypt and Bahrain, said Presidential Spokesperson, Alaa Youssef. President El-Sisi and the Bahraini king held bilateral talks followed by an expanded session which included the two countries' delegations, added the spokesperson. The Bahraini king hailed Egypt's pioneering role in the region, adding that Egypt spares no effort to support the Gulf countries and the entire Arab world.
