Today, President Abdel-Fattah El Sisi met with the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein, who is also visiting the U.S. capital Washington, D.C. President El Sisi congratulated His Majesty King Abdullah II on the success of the recent Arab summit in Jordan and hoped for the outcomes of the summit to be implemented so as to enhance joint Arab action. The President emphasized Egypt's commitment to coordinating and consulting with Jordan on various dossiers, including the latest developments in the Middle East and ways to enhance close bilateral relations. His Majesty King Abdullah II commended President El Sisi's participation in the recent Arab summit and his contribution to the success of the summit, which resulted in outcomes that strengthen Arab unity and solidarity. His Majesty King Abdullah II underscored the special Egyptian-Jordanian relations as well as Jordan's commitment to coordinating and consulting with Egypt on all regional issues and efforts that seek to reach political solutions to ongoing crises. During the meeting, President El Sisi and His Majesty King Abdullah II exchanged views on various regional developments and efforts to push forward the peace process between the Palestinians and Israelis. They agreed to continue to coordinate the stances between the two countries.
