Egyptian Minister of Transport Galal Said has formed a committee to prepare a report on Egypt's railway workshops nationwide for maintenance , Youm7 reported Sunday evening. The Egyptian National Railways (ENR) has selected the Delta town of Abu Za'bal in Qalyubia to build the first factory to manufacture the carriages locally, saving foreign exchange used to import railway equipment, ENR chief Ahmed Hamed told Youm7 in April 2015.
