Minister of foreign affairs, Sameh Shoukry met Sunday Norway's Envoy for Middle East Peace Process, Ambassador Tor Wennesland at ministry's headquarters in Cairo, Al Masry Al Youm News reported. Spokesman for minister of foreign affairs, Ahmed Abo Zeid revealed in a statement to reporters that the meeting focused on the latest developments of the Palestinian cause and the future of the peace process in the Middle East. Abo Zeid said that the Norwegian envoy was keen to listen to the assessment of the Egyptian side regarding the results of the ministerial meeting on peace process, which was held June 3 in the French capital Paris. He explained that Wennesland was interested to learn about Egypt's measures to realize the results of the meeting, especially with respect to the encouragement of the Palestinian and Israeli sides to resume direct negotiations between one another.
