Egypt and Canada signed Tuesday an agreement under which a grant worth $ 10.7 million will be given to Egypt in order to upgrade capabilities and potential of employees within industrial sector. The grant was signed by minister of international cooperation, Sahar Nasr and minister of commerce, Tarek Kabeel, who represented the Egyptian side, and the Canadian ambassador in Cairo, Al Bawaba News reported. Also, the grant will be used to develop the skills of six thousand young men and women in Upper Egypt. Nasr explained that the grant comes within the Canadian government's plans to support development projects in Egypt, through grants worth $ 50 million. She pointed out that such grants reflect the evolution of the Egyptian-Canadian relations and partnership, as well as cooperation between the two countries.
