Minister of Civil Aviation, Sherif Fathy denounced western media allegations against EgyptAir pilot of flight MS804 that crashed over the Mediterranean on Thursday, al-Masry al-Youm reported.
"It's unethical," the minister said in phone interview with CBC TV channel on Saturday night, affirming that he wonders of media allegations that there was smoke billowed from the doomed plane before it fell.
"There is no accurate information until this moment. However, we don't exclude any possibility until concerned bodies wrap up the investigations," Fathy added.
