President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi made Tuesday a telephone call to Cyprus' President, Nicos Anastasiades to praise his country's efforts in releasing EgyptAir's hijacked plane hostages, Al-Bawaba News reported. Sisi pointed out that the Cypriot efforts reflect the great relations between the two countries, adding that Egypt and Cyprus have historical and cultural links. For his part, the Cypriot president stressed on the excellent relations between Egypt and Cyprus, noting his country dealt with the hijacking of the Egyptian plane within the framework of these relations.
