Egypt's PM Sharif Ismael praised Wednesday Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA) over winning a two-year membership of International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), Al-Bawaba News reported. Ismael noted that the authority's recent achievement came as a result to its domestic achievements which boosted its international role during the last three years. EFSA's membership will support Egypt's global financial activities, Ismael added, signaling to the financial expertise of the international association which would help increasing investments opportunities in Egypt. IOSCO is the most important entity in laying foundations and rules of the global financial markets and the criteria that each country seeks to adhere to ensure fairness, transparency and market efficiency as well as the risks management. The organization includes 95% of world's financial markets in the world, represented by some 120 bodies for control and supervision.
