The Star Online Egypt introduces new rules for exports by foreign factories Malaysian factories wanting to export their products to Egypt must now register with the Egyptian General Organisation for Export and Import Control (GOEIC). This follows the issuance of a Ministerial Decree requiring all foreign factories to do so. The Malaysia External Trade Development Corp (Matrade) said in a statement that the decree on the mandatory requirement was issued on Feb 2, 2016, and is effective March 16. "Malaysian factories must make a one-off online registration with GOEIC via its website. "The relevant documents include a certificate of the legal status of the factory and production licence, a statement of products produced by the factory and trademarks, and the trademark used under licence from the owner," it added.
