Parliament has formed a fact finding committee of 25 members to examine head of Central Auditing Agency (CAA), Hisham Geneina's statements on corruption within state institutions, a supervisory source told Al-Bawaba News Sunday. The source who spoke to Al-Bawaba on condition of anonymity, said that committee's 25 members, includes experts, parliamentarians and members of parliamentary blocs. The committee will begin its work as soon as parliament announces its formation, the source added. Parliament has approved during its sessions held in early February, the formation of a special committee to investigate the facts behind Geneina's statements on corruption within state institutions, which he claimed reached EGP600 billion, according to CAA's report on corruption.
